I generally don’t like Toto, but I really like “Africa”. I generally don’t like Don Henley, but I really like “Boys of Summer”. I generally don’t like Van Halen, but I really like “Jump”. I generally don’t like Olivia Newton-John, but I really like “Magic”… and “You’re The One That I Want”… oh yeah, and “Xanadu”… OMG! Maybe I DO like Olivia Newton-John!!! :eek: ---

Except for about two songs, I loathe and despise The Eagles, Henley in particular. But there’s simply no denying what a great song “Boys of Summer” is. I justify it by saying it’s Mike Campbell’s guitar work and overall musical direction that makes it what it is. ---
