You know, the whole “setting her free” idea, as well as the last sentence makes me wonder if **Lord Ashtar** has a bit of a martyr complex. Do you, **Lord**? Have you thought about that at all? ---

At least you won’t come off sounding like a douchebag. And if your reasons are fear based then you need to decide whether or not you want to live your life from that perspective. I can see some pretty legitimate reasons for not wanting a wife and kid. Not the least is not having to negitiate every decision with someone else and being locked into caring for a kid for 18 years.
