Whats up with those ads i have been seeing lately (mainly on Facebook) about these people that filled out some sort of a form and got a $12,000+ grant from Obama? ---

Probably from the same people who brought you “I got a $12,000 check from Bush.” I can’t help but see a guy wearing a suit with a lot of question marks behind those ads. I’m also thinking of a word like “scram” but without an “r.” ---

I’ll send you your $12,000 from Obama but it will be in the form of a check for $20,000. If you would be so kind as to forward the extra $8,000 to me I would be most grateful. But seriously, while I don’t doubt the government gives out millions in grants, I seriously doubt they give them out for the purpose of paying off credit card debt and taking vacations. ---

It has a big picture of a thoughtful-looking Obama, plus logos for major networks and news organizations, and a talking lady to make sure you understand everything. Spam-a-licious! I’ll have to use that strategy for my website, I can just put the CNN and MSNBC logos on it and gain instant credibility! ---

They have exactly the same ads for the Government of Canada, except that Obama is replaced with a photo of a GST rebate cheque (example of standard refund: $90).
