# I Got a fake ebay e-mail

I feel important now. I just received an e-mail from ebay asking me to update my details etc- the ones that are known as spoofing or phishing. It was all professionally done, and the fake site was very good.

However they did have a spelling mistake- ‘department’ was spelt as ‘deptartment’. And it arrived in my gmail account which I have never linked to ebay.

They could have saved themselves the trouble. Even though I have an ebay account, I have never bought anything on it.

I feel better now though. 🙂

I got 89 new e-mails today.All of them were telling me that my message had not been able to be delivered.Little surprise as it was a page of gobbledegook.As I am not in the habit of sending out rubbish,I want to know how to kill this thing off 🙂
