I got a “friend” request and it creeped me right out, and made me wonder what I had done wrong. We don’t have friends here on the Dope - we have enemies and temporary allies. ---

I, too, was a victim of Idle Thoughts’ Whopper bait and switch scam. Him: “You want a whopper?” Me: “Sure do!” Him: “Well too bad, now you’re my friend. P.S. there are no whoopers” ---

Just a small bump. I recently added another 10 or 20 (I tend to go in spurts) of those whom I personally like the posts of, have noticed more often as of late, or just who I think are good, regular posters who help make this place the good and interesting site it is…so if you got one from me and wondered what was up with it, that’s why. I had understood that Facebook page to be more of a parody site, so I suspect the gender there may not be accurate.
