Meh, have been under the weather these last few days (thus the uptick in Dope posts if you noticed, staying at home…) so I’m having a quiet Xmas with juice and soup and some oddly tasting medications that have me kind of loopy.

Ho Ho Ho!! Merry Christmas from Soggy Southern Merrylande! I’m enjoying the not-at-all-traditional Christmas breakfast of quiche and diet Coke! ♪ Fa la la la la la la la la! ♪ As the morning progresses, I’ll have to load the car and \*\*FCD \*\*will bathe Higgs. We need to leave by 10 on the 2-hour trek to my bro’s house. There will be much food and a goofy gift exchange and possible drama if Bro’s gf is there - with luck, she’s in CT with her daughter…
Our daughter is working at Disney today, but she’ll be joining her FL grandparents later in the afternoon. I don’t know how many more performances of the Candelight Processional she’ll be doing - at least one on Monday.
Anyway, that should pretty much be our day. Fingers crossed for reasonable traffic and minimal family drama.

I got a Pete Rose card for a couple team cards once. But I never was much at swapping.
And a Merry Christmas to all of us who are holier than thou and a Happy Holiday to those who aren’t. Went to a service at a friends church last night and went to our congregation this morning. Now off to do that visit thingy. My cousin-in-laws family is the same nice kind of goofy we are so I’m packing some extra powder and my mortar just for fun.

It’s 47 in the armpit with a high of 52 later today. The sun is trying to come out.
I’ve logged in to irk this morning but I’m expecting it to be slow.
Peanut butter and crackers for breakfast here. I didn’t bring any food with me and there’s not much to eat. I tired to order a pizza last night, I don’t know if there was a problem with the website or if the place was closed.
Otherwise I’d be having leftover pizza for breakfast.
I have no idea what is on for today. I think everybody is supposed to come here for brunch at 11. You never know though, my younger niece is always late. I don’t know if the HFH are coming or not but I’m not dealing with them.
**FCM** here’s hoping your xmas is drama free and my xmas is drama free.

Higgs is bathed, as are the humans of the household. The car is mostly packed - I won’t put the food in the cooler till last. It’s still cloudy to the east, but I see blue sky in the west, so I think we’ve got a nice day in store.
I suppose I should decide what to wear, ya think? I don’t think a green robe and purple slippers is quite festive enough. Plus it’s gotten chilly out, so this isn’t warm enough either!
And on that note, I think I shall go dress and get ready to go.
All you you better have a happy day, and be safe if you have to drive anywhere! Laterzzzzz!!

Last night at my SIL’s house was a mixed bag and I came home with a scratchy throat and the sniffles. I begged off dinner at my niece’s today not so much because I am seriously ill or anything, but I don’t want to share it, especially with her husband’s 95 year old grandmother.
