# I Got A Weird Email SDMB.

I just got a weird email apparently from the Straight Dope Message Board. I will share it with you all in its entirety:

Anyways, I made it a URL link so you can all go there. As you can see, once there, there is no reply and no **rnkrodk**. I will try it again, but that is basically what I found. You’re not having a problem with your boards, are you (Mods?)?
The weirdest thing is its apparently from 2003. As I’ve said, I will look at it again more carefully.

That is because **Marley23** is a secret ninja poster, whose posts are not recognized as such by the software. 😉

I have a similar problem. I get notified about replies to very old threads but not replies to new threads. I have notification turned off.
