**jk1245** , maybe I’m mistaken, but I thought she wound up having to give a good chunk of that to the son - or not? I knew it had been tied up in the courts, tho. And **Boo Boo** , we can all watch as long as we’re not one of those $%#^@ Nielsen people, right? 🙂 ---

My understanding was that she wanted half of her “husband’s” multi-billion dollar estate. His son, naturally, contested this and in the end she received “only” $100 million or so. I must admit, I’m not up on all things Anna Nicole, so I may well be wrong. ---

That ignorance is unforgivable! Anyway, here’s the story on her. Some years ago, she worked as a stripper in Texas, and one of her favorite clients was a very old man named (I think) Marshall. So she shook her groove thang, and after a whirlwind romance, they got married. No, seriously. Then, just as quickly as their courtship, the old coot died. The kicker was that he was worth billions and billions (oil magnate). And it turned out he had left it all to his favorite stripper/wife, too (either that or they didn’t find a will and she got it because she was next of kin). Ah, but there’s more. Seems her son and other members of the family didn’t cotton to no stripper gettin’ her hand on their loot, so they sued. This dragged the whole deal on for years, over which time A-M was painted as a major gold-digger - she basically had her fifteen minutes stretch out to several hours. But last I heard, a judge had ordered her to give some of the dough to the old man’s oldest son. And now E! Network is presenting her own show. Looks like it’ll be a “talk” show, but if you catch any of the promos, she’s made out to be incredibly dumb - not to mention physically unattractive, which was her reason for existing in the first place. Course, if you’re whooshing me, I’m gonna be peeved. 🙂 ---

She did a whole “Marilyn” (Monroe, not Manson) thing in Playboy, and went on to be the model for [Guess?](http://features.yahoo.com/model/smith/) jeans, right after Claudia Schiffer.
