I’ve always heard you should high five the groom and slap the bride on the ass. If I got married again, I’d elope, probably on some tropical island. I’d probably invite a close friend or two to be witnesses, but I’d forego all that other nonsense. (Not that it was nonsense when I was 24.) ---
