I decided to major in something truly socially useful: Communications/Journalism.
Well, it’s got little to no math involved, and it’s a hell of a lot easier than basketweaving.

Journalism sounds like fun, but there’s probably a lot of writing involved (yuck). A heartfelt congradulations and best of luck to you on your upcoming college edumacation.

I start classes at the end of August, but I’ve got to go down for placement testing, orientation, and that kind of thing. So, I figure I’ve got to go down about three or four times before I actually sit in my first classroom.

That’s not gonna happen. I got the formal acceptance package in the mail today, which includes the credits I’ve already got, and I DON’T HAVE TO TAKE MATH!!! (Obviously, that makes me happy.)
I don’t have to take College Writing, Oral Communication, Computer Science, or Principles of Biology I, either.
