The doorbell rang this morning, and I got there just in time to see the mailman pulling away. there was a package on my doorstep-my elephant had arrived! Inside, tons of jewels, and a note saying she hoped SOME of the treasures would be of use in my apartment. Well, I’m sure I can put some of them to use… Included: \*a US Postal Service mug \*a checkbook cover \*tons of measuring spoons \*a star plate thing-the label on back said it’s actually a candle holder \*a tomato corer \*jolly ranchers! \*a weird little santa display…i think i’m saving this for round 3… \*a lemon juicer? \*an Exxon mug \*a soap and toothbrush holder \*a little knife that looks like some sort of fruit cutter And, last but not least, BUBBLE WRAP!! Hehehe…I popped it all, and stuck it into my elephant’s box before I shipped it out… Thanks babe…pretty damn awesome. ---

Sweet weeping Jesus! What a huge box!!! I opened it up, and it’s not obvious straight away who it’s from, but from skimming this post I think it’s **bobkitty’s** package. I’d just like to note - $28 to ship that bad boy. Holy smokes! I’m saving it 'til I get home tonight. I’ll report back tomorrow with the contents, since there’s A LOT in it. You can’t imagine how thrilled I was to get a package today from SWEDEN! Wow, with swedish customs stuff printed on it! Awesome! In it, **Soda** had stuffed numerous wonderful items including: Amber earrings (which I’m wearing right now) 1 stuffed animal–my son grabbed this right off and called it “bear.” I told him no, it’s a tiger. See, it’s even an _educational_ package! Some giftwrapping ribbon. You wouldn’t believe what a wrap/ribbon junkie I am. It’s like she sent me some crack. Two schnapps “glasses” shaped like pipes. They’re cool. My dad love schnapps, so I’m sure he’ll covet them. One picture frame with ladybugs on it. By the time I pulled this item out, my husband noted “This stuff isn’t as crappy as the stuff you sent your person.” True. This stuff is actually neat! A witch on a string. Soda explained that it’s an Easter decoration, accompanied with an explanation of an Easter celebration. I think she’s having me on, actually, because she knows I’m gullible. Surely witches aren’t part of Easter?!?! A book. Soda claims it’s a crappy novel and she gave up after one chapter. If I hate it, I’ll send it to my friend in CA who reads _everything_ A make-up bag, shiny! With swedish writing! CK massage oil Travellers toothbrush & toothpaste A condom Compact earphones This really cool red/bronze nail polish. Not soda’s color, but I love it. It’s been months since I’ve done my nails, but tonight I’m gonna lavish this stuff on myself. I think that’s everything. Thanks for such a cool cool white elephant package!! ---
