Woo Hoo! Thanks **BOOKER**! I got all sorts of …well…good stuff 🙂 I got some archaic plastic thing, I think it might be an old printer, not too sure… I got a nifty little “PAID” stamp that I’ll use to tag my friends. I got a rust converter pen thing…I’ll have to try it on my Chevy Citation… And a 1980 Chevy Citation service training book! How wierd is that??? A two pack of ballpoint pens with magnifiers…interesting. A moist towellette from KFC. A fake lottery ticket (I won ten grand! I won ten grand!..oh…no I didn’t…bastard:) “No Smoking” stick on signs…great…I’m a smoker too. Some wierd…button cover…things…I dunno. Some **Weird Al Yankovic** glasses from UHF! Hell yeah! I love em! Aaaaand I got TWO PAIRS! Woo Hoo!! Some miscellaneous patches, an empty santa claus box, some sort of surge protector, some W.C. Fields stamps, and BUBBLE WRAP! I destroyed it all while I read the newspaper he included with the WTC headlines. Thanks booker57! You rock! 😃 oh yeah, I also got some mudflaps for a pontiac 6000, a hurricane tracking chart, and some flyer advertising ontario country in the finger lakes…yay! 🙂 ---

Like a good little virgin, I was waiting, and waiting, and waiting… And then it happened! Like a beautiful flower opening it’s petals – no wait, more like \*a big WHITE ELEPHANT box from \ ***Chef Troy**! I’ve been deflowered by… [li] **Stress balls – a red die and a pink pig**. The perfect way to relieve tension[/li][li] **A Neiman Marcus mint box filled with paper clips**. Neiman Marcus paper clips – I’m moving up in the world.[/li][li] **A Dilbert pen!**. This is especially good, because my former Dilbert pen lost its head. It was the kind with a big ceramic Dilbert head on top, but the head kept falling off. This will go in a place of honor in my Dilbert pen holder/clock.[/li][li] **A ceramic bird with real feather** (and cracked beak). How…interesting.[/li][li] **A beautiful purple quartz crystal “to enhance serenity”**! I could use a little serenity this week.[/li][li] **an orange peeler** Tell me – if I’m playing one of my favorite games, “Get the entire orange peel off in a single strip,” would using this thing be cheating?[/li][li] **An animal nose piece**. I’m not sure about this one. Is it for Halloween? A rubber nose for use by cat clowns?[/li][li] **Authentic Chef Troy recipes**. I’ll try to mangle them…I mean test them out soon.[/li][li] **Gold stickers**. To reward myself when I manage to do something right.[/li][li] **A Stephen King cassette**. It’s some pretty good blues, especially the “Who Needs It Blues” on side one (which begins with the immortal lyrics, “Who needs your ass anyway?”) The pictures are shots that I took myself. You are welcome to use them in whatever layout you wish. The Stephen King tape I sent you was “Mrs. Todd’s Shortcut,” wasn’t it? If so, it has its slightly creepy moments but it is NOT a horror story. It’s actually kind of wistful. Give it a chance. (OTOH, if I sent you “Gramma” then I urge you NOT to listen to it if you are creeped out by old people.) As for the rubber cat nose, it’s from my extensive collection of rubber noses (of the elastic-string-around-the-head variety that one wears with Halloween costumes). I have about 75 of them, with only a couple of duplicates. Now YOU can start collecting them so I can stop. BTW, I don’t think it would be cheating to use the orange peeler… but it’s designed to get the peel off in _two_ pieces, not one, so you’d lose the game if you use it. Anyway, I’m glad you liked it! Hmmm, **Cheffie** sent his package packing _this week_[sub]I think[/sub], I sent mine _last_ week… and the recepient hasn’t posted of it yet. Gosh, I know, judging from what others have received, I was an undersender, but it wasn’t _that_ bad was it? Anyhows, I hope he did receive it. FWIW, I haven’t received anything yet either. You know, that WAS the most amusing trip I’ve had to the post office. “Do you want insurance?” “No.” “But it’s an awfully large box…” “Nope. Thanks.” “…and it’s heavy. It’s a good idea to…” “No, really. It’s not worth anything.” _confused disgruntled PO employee look_ “Uhhh… but it’s a very LARGE box…” “I realize that. No insurance.” _giggle_ I’m only sorry that the person who overheard me talking about my recent exchange with **ts** wasn’t helping me. I’ll have the entire staff in therapy yet! Oh, and incidentally. I couldn’t help noticing, when they were stamping ‘fragile’ all over the box, that there was a small… ummmm… stain on the bottom. I fear perhaps we’ve sprung a leak inside my pachyderm. So if someone in, say, the CA area were to get a large-ish package at work in 3-4 days, please open at your own risk. Contents may be… ahhh… slippery. But the good news is it washes off. Well, it should wash off _most_ of the stuff in there, anyway. If the PO keeps the box mostly right-side-up, it should minimize the damage. Oh boy. I apologize in advance for my incontinent elephant. 🙂 -BK ---

One looks like it will even work in these old doors of Casa del DeDay. And A green hand towel. For when I go hitchhiking across the galaxy, no doubt. I know where _my_ towel is.
