I came home today to a very securely duct-taped parcel that clinked a bit. Fortunately, nothing was broken. Soooo, May I take this moment to thank **The Mighty Tiki God** for gifting me with: A little square glass container with a lid - exactly like one I just sold in my yard sale - lucky me šŸ˜ƒ Half a calendar (Mad Gab - ā€œItā€™s not what you say, itā€™s what you HEAR!ā€ A miniature Tinky-Winkyā€¦ Iā€™m speechless A temporary tattoo that says ā€œSpecialā€ - how sweet of you to notice!! Two bottle caps - which, on close inspection are good for 2 free Sprites - my darling offspring happens to live Sprite and last but not least - a Tiki God candle - itā€™s really neat!! I like that a lot! šŸ™‚ In the included note, I read: ā€œI sent probably half the stuff from my apartment to youā€ Golly gee - I hate to think of you in a half empty apartmentā€¦ would you like Tinky-Winky back?? ---

Wow! I got my elephant in the mail today. It was very exciting to open, not knowing what could be inside, the anticipation had my heart beating fast (hey, Iā€™m easily amused). Iā€™d like to thank **Callie** for her gifts, they arenā€™t just everyday crap, šŸ˜‰ but extraordinary crap! #1. **The Shrimper, As Seen On TV** ; Deveins and peels shrimp in seconds flat. Neat, if I can afford to buy shrimp someday, it will be useful. #2. a **Cheese Mill** ; You can also grate Candy and/or Nuts. Again, it could be useful one day. #3. My favorite of all, a **Partially Completed Latch Hook Kit** , with colorful pansies. You know that might be fun to do, and Iā€™ve always been curious about that craft. Problem is, what do you do with the completed latch hook rug? Hey, out of curiosity, have you ever used them and how long have you had these items? Thank you again **Callie**. I hope you get something neat like I did, (no, really, no sarcasm). ---

You are so very very welcome **Pink Kitten**. I was wondering when you would get it - I mailed it last Monday. I got the latch hook rug thingy just three months ago. I hadnā€™t seen one since I was little and since I was trying to quit smoking I thought that that would be a good way to keep my hands busy. So, I did an entire one the first day I quit. The one I sent you, well, that one just didnā€™t hold my interest. I guess you can hang it up on the wall if when you get it finished. (heehee) Iā€™m sure it will be oh so pretty. šŸ˜ƒ Let me know WHEN you finish it. The one I finished is now sitting in a drawer - its of a peace sign and its quite a bit smaller than the lovely one I sent you. šŸ™‚ As for the other craā€¦stuff - I couldnā€™t even figure out what that Cheese Mill thing was or how it workedā€¦ Its never been used. And ā€œThe Shrimperā€ didnā€™t work -you can just imagine my surprise about thatā€¦ But Iā€™m sure it will work for you. šŸ˜› ---
