A coupla things. 1. I have written with the Pen Of Doom! Persephone brought it with her to Art Fair, and when I needed a pen…there it was. 2. I too am awaiting my box of stuff. I realize several people haven’t sent anything yet but do intend to. That’s fine…but I hope my person is one of them, as opposed to someone who is blowing it off altogether because damn it, I thought of this whole stupid enterprise! LOL. It would be, what, justice?, if I got no crap in return? Heh heh. 3. My recipient did get their stuff from me (Cartooniverse); he just hasn’t made his way in here to wax poetic about what I unloaded on his poor self. He sent me private thanks, but I at some point, if ya get a free moment and want to entertain the masses with my collection of crap, I’ll read it with relish. Of course, since it probably went straight in the dumpster after he got it, he might be unable to recall details. Entirely possible. 🙂 ---

WOW — such awesome stuff. DUMPSTERS? Feh A flag of a crab. Amazing. It’s in the garage on the wall next to my Olympic Flag. Pasta in the shape of pets. LOVELY 🙂 My daughter will be in heaven…she wants a dog. Badly. Love lube. :x A cool cooler for a golf bag, which I’ve ALREADY initiated into the film industry, it hangs off of my docking stand. Great to have a cool drink or snacks at hand finally, without having to bend ovah. Some neato pads of paper. A videotape that sets the “mood” 😃 I think that was it, I laughed a lot at the thought and cleverness that went into it. \*\* Cranky\*\*, I will enjoy every bit of it I assure you. Well I’m extremely disappointed that some of you haven’t got your goodies. ☹ I emailed **thinksnow** and told him to give me information on one of you who didn’t get anything. I’ve done some digging around my house and found some great goodies including a round black clock with tiny billiard balls for the numbers. ---

I’ve already got another box started. 😃 Which brings me to… I got a box of Korean newspaper from **Skerri**! I’m doing this from memory, so if I forget something, sorry! Seperating the really nice crinkly paper was _Dragonland_, which was promptly claimed by Jr. Ranger II, as was the level. The rose now resides on my daughter’s keepsake shelf. Little did you know, btu I’m a beading fool and garnets are my birthstone, so the broken necklace is a wonderous thing. If I ever have a free couple of days, I’ll get around to reading _The Science of Self Realization_ by His Divine Grace Swami Prabhapada. 🙂 ---

Please, please, forgive me. I did finally get my package, and every time I thought about posting about it, I couldn’t find this thread. Shame on me. Also, to my dear person, \< **Zappo** \> who is waiting and waiting and waiting for his stuff, I must humbly apologize. First, with the car accident \ I wasn’t on here much at all. Then, I went back to get the address from my email, only to discover I had went over on my limit and guess what they \ deleted? Yep, your address, along with the return address for **thinksnow**. ☹ If you would be so kind as to send it again, I do have a box of wonderful, amazing…er…_stuff_ for a (un)lucky doper. 😃 Now, MY package was from **AndYrAStar**! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I _love_ it! No, really, I do. It was wrapped in a brown paper sack, with a cute \ purplebear’s head \, with this in red marker: (ok, it was supposed to be a bear…whatever). I cut out that part too. 😉 I got: **a framed print of a cowgirl barrel riding** -it’s neat, I love horses, it’ll go up in the craft room, most likely. **a really weird thingy that took me a few moments to figure out- when you open it up, it’s a candy tray!**. Cool! It appears to be silver, in an openwork round style, and a friend who came by and saw it sitting next to the 'puter thought it was a weird-looking tortilla warmer! LOL!! **a black plastic beaded necklace** , which my daughter promptly appropriated. She loves it, so I let her keep it. And something else, I’m forgetting. Oops. Shame on me all over again. Anyway, I loved it all, and thank you again. 😃 And if anyone else wants some stuff, I’ll be happy to do another box or two. I’m sure I can find more stuff to send. 😛 ---

Please, you dopers, hear my woeful tale: I will today mail off the last package to my friend in Brooklyn who stored her entire life’s savings of useless, heavy crap at my house for a year while she was getting established. Now I have no reason to go to the P.O. every day! But I must go to the P.O. every day because I have a crush on one of the postal workers. More than that, it would give me great joy to send to you my fabulous, fabulous items, each gently aged and lightly dusted with topnotch house dust. In return I guarantee to welcome into my heart and home any items I might receive. Particularly if they come in a giant box that the mail carrier won’t leave at my door and that will necessitate another trip to the P.O. where… HE is. ---

How 'bout I mail _you_ something and then you turn around and mail that to your friend? That’ll mean two trips to the post office! And it really wouldn’t matter what I sent you because your friend’s gonna get it and I bet she doesn’t remember what exactly she left at your place. Or maybe she will remember and she’ll send it back to you because she’ll think you sent it by accident. That’ll mean another trip to the post office and you’ll get to see _HIM_ again. Ahhhhhh, young lust…I mean, love. 😃 ---

But on second thought… you know, it would feel artificial. Part of my attraction to the gentleman is our daily legitimate transactions. I guess I’m fastidious about our nation’s postal service: I’d like to find a way to continue to use the P.O. for its intended purpose, as well as for its proven value to me as a free peep parlor. If I’m trumping up a reason to send unsolicited packages around the globe I may as well just walk in and climb up on the counter and perch there, staring silently into HIS face. (Besides, I have really good white elephants! Somebody out there will love them as they deserve to be loved… [sniff…]) ---

You should contact **thinksnow** about getting the name of someone who did not receive a package. I received my package so I don’t want to receive two white elephants when some of our fellow dopers didn’t get anything. The man that delivers my mail is a hottie, but I rarely get to see him since he delivers the mail while I’m at work. ☹ My brother is a postman. I wonder if the women on his route are salivating over him? On second thought, I don’t think I want to think 'bout that. ---

Okay, since my person apparently never got their package (complete with an unopened _Pop-Up Video_ board game–that was cool, dammit) I will get together another package. Is there another address or something I can send it to to make sure it gets there? According to the post office, the package was delivered but who knows where they actually delivered it to.
