My boss’s fly is open. :eek: I know that’s one of those things you’re supposed to let someone know because it’s easily fixable and will save them from more embarrassment if more people notice… but :eek: I just couldn’t bring myself to say anything. I mean AAAAAWKward. Yup, that really was mundane and pointless but I felt like sharing. ---

Taxi, a co-worker was standing at my desk working on something with me and ripped a fart! He said “excuse me” and we moved on, but lordy, I felt like I was in the fourth grade. I practically had to clap my mouth shut to keep from going, “EEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeee Dave!!! You farted!” Anyway, turns out hubster probably won’t be going to Atlanta until next week. Let’s hope things calm down before then. Or at least, then. ---

Taxes are done. Yay. Now it’s time to plot… Do we pay off the mortgage we’ve not been able to pay since September? Get the new garage door that we’ve been needing? Pay off a credit card? Take a long-overdue vacation? Buy food? Hire an attorney to sue the mortgage company that gave us bad directions? ---

Wow, we are going great guns here today. I been busy so couldn’t post til now. One of the things I been busy with was collecting Dad’s ashes from my brother who dropped him off here at my office after he drove out to East Bumdiddle to pick him up from the Crematorium. See, Brother works nights and this was the most convenient time. So anyway, Dad’s in my car…in a shopping bag. (I don’t believe there’s an appropriate smiley for this one.) **spats** , OMG there was an episode of House on last nite! Sorry we didn’t tell you sooner. **swampy** , I do believe that sleet is frozen before it hit’s the ground whereas frozen rain isn’t until it hits the ground. Make any sense? I am jealous of **tigs** and **fcm** lunching together. **rigs** , ewwwwwww! Tie that kid down and give him a bucket! God, I’m glad I don’t have that duty anymore. At least the dogs don’t projectile vomit. 😛 My stone age boyfriend’s family had a Newfie. She was the only dog that the 12 kids couldn’t kill. She used to go swim in the river and get quite fragrant. Oh, she also ran Bobby Kennedy’s Newfie stud under a car causing him to break a leg. I am not making that up. I’m hungry. Off to have lunch. Tupug ---

Afternoon, all. I stayed up too late working cause the house was really quiet and nobody was talking to me/interrupting me/making loud noises behind me/driving me crazy, and then slept horribly so stayed in bed too late, then got up and did some work, and then went to a doctor’s appointment and the pharmacy, and am now home and not planning to go ANYWHERE else today. **Rigs** , I remember those days well. Better you than me, is all I can say – I’m not a barfer, but I get sympathetically nauseous to the point where I _wish_ I could barf. I’m glad my kids are all grown up now; if they barf all over the place, it’s _their_ problem. Good choice not to drink and dial, Haze. It can lead to all kinds of awkwardness. Thus speaketh the voice of experience. :eek: Okay, **FCM** , lunch should be cool tomorrow. So where will we eat, and when shall we meet you there? Your choice! There’s a Newfie that goes to the dog beach here fairly regularly. But even bigger than a Newfie are [Leonbergers](http://www.leonbergerclubofamerica.com/). There was a woman in New Orleans who had a pair of them that we’d meet at the pet store occasionally. The _smaller_ one was 175 lbs. :eek: Amazingly, they eat no more food than our dogs; they’re just _enormous_. But very, very sweet and mellow. My alpaca yarn just arrived! In cranberry, and it is just beyooootiful – it’s got a fair amount of brown in it so it’s a very rich color. And it’s so SOFT! I love alpaca yarn! Okay, back to my exciting congressional [del]drivel[/del] hearing. ---

No drunks here (darn it). I also fight my own gag reflex when watching someone else vomit. He is better now-but I’m beat. So much for my productive school day…I think I will call in tomorrow (library) to get these assignments done. He WILL go to school tomorrow. Kid missed two days last week. There is/was (I dunno which) an Alpaca farm near my hometown. There is/was (again I dunno whicy) also a LLama farm there. The llamas always participate/participated in the town Christmas parade. Well, they just walked along in the parade. I mean, they didn’t twirl fire batons or nuttin’. I am from a very strange town. It is the St. Olaf of Jawja.😃 Without the herring farms, of course. Ok, finally all those spreadsheets are fixed. I swear I’m grabbin’ a rifle and climbin’ on the roof if somebody says anything about ‘em bein’ messed up ever again. AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH! **gotti** if you need food, do that first. Then the mortgage. If there’s anything left buy some “toys” for DH and you to enjoy. 😉 I have an appointment to get my taxes done on Friday afternoon. I like my CPA guy. I’m most of the way through my first skein for the bag. I caved and bought SWTC Karaoke (a wool/soysilk blend) in a mahogany color for it. It has subtle color changes and looks very elegant. It’s perfect! I need to buy beads very soon, since I’m almost to the beading rows. Since Karaoke produces a light fabric, I’m going to have to line it. I’ve been debating whether or not I should buy a small sewing machine, but they frighten me. Sewing machine use and maintenance were responsible for that C in home ec. I’m always afraid I’m going to sew my finger, which happened to a classmate. ::shudder:: I finally came to the light and installed Firefox. Why didn’t I do this sooner? It’s awesome, and I haven’t even added any plug-ins yet. I have a craving for sourdough pancakes, and it looks like there are a couple of restaurants that serve them. My uncle had sourdough starter that was over 100 years old, and boy, was it sour! You could smell it from across the room. Yummy!
