# I got the order of rabies shots mixed up...........

I don’t know. But I would speculate that perhaps if he was really insistent to a doctor, the doctor may have prescribed the pre-exposure series as a precaution in case he gets rabies. He wasn’t prescribed the post-exposure series because there’s no evidence that he was exposed. Sort of _“Okay, Mr Velocity, I can’t give you the rabies treatment shots because you weren’t bitten by a rabid animal and you don’t have rabies. But if you’re that worried about rabies, I’ll give you the preventive shots so that if you ever do actually get bitten by a rabid animal, you’ll be protected.”_
