Where my dad works, there isn’t much near there, except a bar. My mom commented that there’s no drugstore near there, so if you worked there and had a headache, you couldn’t just go buy painkiller pills. I said you could just go to the bar instead and drink until your head didn’t hurt anymore. ---

Spousal unit is on his way to work with a lunch that I packed this morning before feeding Higgs. I am having breakfast after loading a mattress pad and sheet into the washer (all of the guest room bedding has to be washed, including the pillow. Damned cat!!!) And after I’m done with the pads, sheets, pillows, and whatever, I get to mow the ditch today! WOOHOO!!! Good morning!! I slept thru the night, so that’s good. It’s cool out (50°) and it’s not getting hot today, so that’s also good. And it doesn’t appear to be windy - maybe I can spray the poison ivy today. Fingers crossed!! Yep, that’s my big excitement. _rah_. Happy Thursday!! ---

Today I get to go to the southeast forty which should take up a large chunk of the irk day. I get to leave from da cave so there’s that. **ruble** don’t be too hard on **doggio**. Remember my church house is a combo of Luteruns and Whiskypalians. Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy is hongry. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence. Morning, mumpers. I have bypassed blurf today and gone straight to _blargle_. Had to sit through an hour-long exams processing meeting run by a guy who has the most monotonous droning voice…struggled to keep awake through that one and had to have a restorative cup of tea when I got back to the office. Now I find that one of my students has deferred some of her exams to our supplementary exams period, just when I was hoping to not have any this year. Is it hometime yet? ---

First load of cat-peed bedding is on the line, second is in the washer. I’ve decided to toss the pillow. It’s old and misshapen anyway, and washing it won’t help much. I’ll just go to WalMart and get a replacement. Meanwhile, both guest rooms are once again no-cat zones. Stoopit Taz. Once the bedding is washed, I get to dress and mow. Yes, I know you wish you had my life and my ditch. Envy the life of a suburban homeowner! ---
