It started out rather ordinary. I was at a convention for old toys. I looked at various models of vampires and the like. Then, suddenly I was the great Mad Scientist and Son Of Ether Doc Cathode and I was talking to bazooka toting mutant hamsters. I began to tell them of a recent dream I had. I told them I dreamed I was awakened by a rotting corpse with its hand around my throat. It skin was falling off in some places and too tight in others. It spoke to me. As it spoke, maggots rained from the corners of its smile. This is what it said "You think nobody knows about your armies massing in the congo? You think nobody knows about the man you killed and dumped in the river? _Fisher Price knows_. Then I woke up. The toy convention is standard dream fare with obvious meaning. Being a great Mad Scientist with fantastic knowledge and powers is also common in my dreams. The Bazooka Bionic Hamsters aren’t out there for me. But narrating a dream within a dream and a zombie sent by a manufacturer of toddler toys is weird. ---

So **Doc** , what _is_ up with your armies massing in the Congo? If you’re planning to overthrow a small nation, I want in! ---

Was the rotting corpse supposed to be the same guy you killed and dumped in the river? I’ve found that random shit like that can make perfect sense in the context of the dream. I envy you. I haven’t had a dream that vivid in years. ---

That’s part of the oddness. Doc Cathode, EtherPsychologist is one of the good guys. I don’t have armies of any kind. I also don’t play Risk.
