# I had forgotten how loud "the outside" is!

Actually you just live on the route of The Lemmings Motorcycle Club. Each year the excess members all go drive off a cliff. That is why they don’t come back.  
I live about a block away from an above ground train station that is being renovated. For some reason they have to do all the loud work starting at 7. It’s quiet now. I don’t what they are doing. They’ve done the jackhammering but now, remember that loud sound the tripods made in the Tom Cruise version of War of the Worlds. They make that noise. Repeatedly. At least it makes the owl shut up.

used to be quiet here too.

I sometimes can hear the traffic beyond, semi trucks, sirens. Today heard tires squealing, but sounded close, and the squalling continued on and on. Went outside and remembered about the racetrack over yonder. squealing revving, then all goes quiet for a while, then it starts up again. Maybe it was drivers school today? 😛
