Sheesh, come on. It’s not as if she were sharing needles with a prostitute from sub-saharan Africa, here. Yes, she made a dumb mistake, but she _probably_ won’t come out of it with anything incurable. A bit of a scare, some time and expense, and maybe a course of antibiotics should drive home the using-condoms point adequately, don’t you think? **Tracy** , glad your first time went so well, and I hope you didn’t pick up anything unpleasant from it. ---

Sex is fun isn’t it? I had sex last night also. You took a chance there, but you seem to know what it was and are going to take steps to make sure it doesn’t happen again. Carry protection with you at all times in a dating situation from now on, even if you’re sure you won’t need it. Congratulations. I waited until I was 27, though not by choice, and I’m married to the woman who was my first encounter. Have fun, but be careful, and try to find someone you can trust and care for. Mrs. Six did the short-term relationship with little emotional commitment thing for a while and quickly found it hollow and unsatisfying. YMMV. ---
