Oops…zombie alert. Beatles? pfft! The Archies went from being in what’s generally considered the greatest achievement in the graphics medium, to being the most critically acclaimed animated series of all time. And only then did they made their groundbreaking, much emulated music. ---

I only hate anyone who capitalizes “the” when referring to the Beatles, or any group, in mid-sentence. At least the OP got that right. ---

But it _is_ part of their name, and a proper noun. Not sure why you would hate someone for following proper rules of capitalization. 🤨 ---

Yes, it is part of their name; no you don’t capitalize even so. That’s standard in English, has been since rules were formalized and style guides published. You could look it up. ---
