# I. Hate. Diabetes.

Count me in with those who hate diabetes. My mom has had Type 1 for 37 years. It’s terrible. It runs big time in my family, but according to my cousin the doctor (who also has it, btw) I might be protected by my hypoglycemia.

Medicine has improved so much since when my mom was diagnosed. It would not surprise me too much if a real cure was developed in the next few years. Keep your fingers crossed.
