# I hate it when a girl gives me "the speech" on a date

Who revived this beauty?

Personally, I had to give the “Let’s just be friends” speech three days ago and I have to do it again next week. I hate doing that, I’m obviously really bad ad it and the reactions I get are getting worse. It is The Right Thing to Do, though, obviously, and I don’t think men fear it more than women do at all. What the heck is the right way to do that, anyway?
