# I hate it when...

There’s a local high school whose colors are black and gold. I ate a cupcake with a lot of black frosting, celerating some event at the school.

Now, as a baker I know the coloring paste isn’t black, it’s just a blue/green color so dark and concentrated it looks black.

What does yellow and blue make? GREEN! My pee was a vivid Kelly green and it kind of scared me until I remembered what I’d eaten.

Good point. A “normal” vegetable wouldn’t be as quirky. _“Schrute’s Carrots”?_ Nope.

I’m more likely to forget I ate beets if I have them in a restaurant, than if I cook them myself. Hope that makes me sound a little less crazy.

I was entertained last year by kelly-green poop after eating lots of black licorice. I was expecting that though - I think I read about it here on the dope.
