I hate it. I dispise all things Japanese. I hate their cars, I hate their cartoons (ooo, I REALY hate their cartoons) I hate their music, I hate everything about that damn island. why is it that Quebec can bitch about too much americian influence and people simpathize, but try to say there is too much Japanese influence in Americia–no one cares! We should just nuke the bastards (again). ---

Jesus. Their Cars? – OK. You don’t like them? Don’t buy them. Seems simple enough. Their Cartoons? – Not liking them is OK, but they are sure as shit easy enough to avoid. Their Music? – Like what? Most of their (popular) music is derived from American Music. “try to say there is too much Japanese influence in Americia–no one cares!” – Please tell your proctologist to call me when he finds your head. No one cares because this is a stupid statement, and I think 99% of the american public would agree that there is little to no Japanese influence in America. “We should just nuke the bastards (again).” – Wait a second. I don’t think I need to say anything here to make you look moronic, you just did a grand job yourself. Lame. Truly Lame Rant. ---

Wow, that gets a 9.2 on the ignorant bigot rant meter. I’ve been to Japan several times and I’ve always enjoyed myself. Maybe if you took the time to visit Kyoto, for example, you would see what a beautiful country Japan is. Hike up the road to Kiyomizu-dera, a splendid Shinto shrine on a hill overlooking Kyoto. You could stay at a ryokan, a traditional inn with straw mat floors and a vase of dried flowers in an alcove. You could visit Nijo Castle and be amazed at the ingenuity that produced “nightingale floors”, wooden floors that make a bird-like sound when you walk on them. I’ve been to both Nagasaki and Hiroshima. I walking to the A-Bomb dome in Hiroshima and looking at the people near me and thinking who would I kill to save an American soldier. Would I be willing to kill those middle school girls, that business man, that old lady? I found my visit to the International Peace Museum in Hiroshima deeply disturbing. I just wonder what kind of troll could write something so stupidly hateful about a place he knows nothing about? ---

In addition to these photos, you can find a wealth of information regarding the suffering and destruction caused by the atomic blasts at Hiroshima and Nagasaki by entering either of those city names into your favorite search engine. Lets see there are a huge amount of Fords on the roads in my country . I have to listen to the squawks of Brittany and her cohorts and teenage mutant ninja poxy turtles are still on t.v. In the service, I went into Japanese ports several times. In even the scungiest, sailor’s hangouts, the people never treated me with anything but courtesy. I found some of the food a little hard to swallow, so whaddahell, I didn’t eat it. And there’s nobody twisting your arm up behind your back and forcing you to eat it either. ---

Japan is cool. I was there years ago, and would love to go back. The dichotomy in the country is really eye opening. On a street in Tokyo you can see people in “western” clothes standing next to someone wearing a kimono. There are McDonalds next to noodle houses. In fact, I’m not sure why the OP is worried with Japanese influence in the US, when clearly the concern should be reversed. But then again, I don’t think that economic imperialism is a good thing.
