I hate pantyhose

It is the absolute worst when I get a huge snag and I am unable to get away to buy a new pair. I think it would be a good idea to have pantyhose vending machines

We have them over here - in the women’s loos in pubs. Also, M & S sell special pocket-sized packs of tights.

I don’t even know why i’m talking about this. I never, ever wear tights. I never even wear a skirt.

When you snag your tights (the English for Pantyhose) - put nail varnish on the snag to seal it and stop it getting bigger. Honestly, this works a treat although obviously it looks a bit bizarre if they’re sheer tights.

Also cheap, aquanet style hairspray (The kind we used to call bullet proof, not the kind that leaves hair still feeling like hair) will do the same.

Amarinth: (Hi!!!by the way)…A garter bel shoud practically invisible when you wear a skirt that is a couple of inches higher than your knee.

I have to confess, it has been 3-4 years since I’ve had to wear hosiery on a regular basis. So it has been that long since I’ve shopped for stockings. Last time I looked, with the exception of one brand, all of the stockings were “one size fits all.” Hardly.

I have long legs. So skirts that should end an inch or two above the knee are higher. Stockings that should end up relatively high don’t. And the overlap between the two is small enough that I would have to spend the day pulling my skirt down every few minutes, or else. I don’t know, but I think that ruins the effect.

Maybe things have changed. I should look.

Anyway, I really do not see the point of wearing sheer hosiery. I would love to see how much profit hosiery manufacters are receiveng.

Because they look great, assuming they make it out the door. Unfortunately, so far my success rate is around 10%. Whenever I do buy ultrasheer hose, I also buy (or make sure I have) a pair of less sheer ones. These people used to make a fortune off of me.
