ummm, i’m pretty sure that was an AP story, so it wasn’t your local newseditors fault. sure they could have cut the remark out, but that’s the reason why AP pays big money to editors…to edit out the extra crap.  
i think this is the first time i’ve ever agreed with pldennison…i’ll ante up with my communication degree, my philosophy minor, and my half-done communications masters, my 32 ACT score, and whatever else i can find, to tell Myndephuquer to SUCK MY DICK, ASS.

information wants to be free. what you do with it is your own business. why should i, as a news editor, tone down a story because someone might find it objectionable? if that were the case, all we’d see would be stories about brad pitt, and water skiing squirrels.

Hey, I happen to like water-skiing squirrels.  
Well, it’s sorta been said already, but I’m throwing my vote the way of pldennison & co, for what it’s worth (I guess my chemistry major don’t count for much here, eh?).
