I hate the “need to talk down to people about how to make simple food” tone. Not a fan of the “smoker’s voice or naturally husky?” sound, though that’s not so much her fault. Hate the stupid little words and phrases like “sammy” (sandwich), “yummo”, “stoup” (not quite stew, not quite soup), and “EVOO - that’s extra virgin olive oil!” Hate her not tipping worth a damn on the “$40 a Day” shows and sounding like she’s re-enacting Meg Ryan’s infamous scene from “When Harry Met Sally” at every bite. ---

Paula Deen fries butter! (She also stuck her tongue in a chocolate fountain during one of her party shows, I believe. Eww, chocolate-enrobed saliva.) I seriously doubt Rachael Ray has ever set foot in a Dunkin’ Donuts. And why does she always say “EVOO, extra virgin olive oil?” Why abbrieviate if you’re just going to tell us what it is every time? ---
