I’ve been told that long time beard wearers unconsciously hold thier chins differently, so that when they shave they appear to be chinless. Saw my ex w/o his beard once. seemed true in his case. ---

This is the first time I’ve seen anyone pit their own face… I just picture 12 year olds screaming at each other retaliation “I pit yo momma!” “Well, I pit yo face!” “No you can’t! I pit my OWN face! Nyah!” Interesting. But yeah, good luck in growing it back 🙂 ---

I just needed to vent. It’s been 8 months unemployed, off and on and I’m sick of it. re: jobs In my area, all the entry level stuff, part-time, and manual labor is eaten up by illegals, or necessitates spanish since the area has grown so heavily in the last few years. All the higher end stuff requires ridiculous amounts of experience that I do not have, and have not been available anyway since several months ago anyway. What’s left over is commission sales with no draw, or pyramid schemes. I don’t have any medical training so that’s out, and going back to school and living on loans is not an option as I have worked extremely hard to be completely debt free. At this point I’ll take anything I can find. ---

I grew my beard in nice and full for halloween this year and finally gave in to the pressure to shave it off from my girlfriend and the first time I looked in the mirror after shaving I was aghast at my pale and pasty looking self. I looked like I was 12. I’ve trimmed but not shaved since. I’d do it again for a job interview though. And then grow it right back. ---

I’ve worn a short beard for over 20 years. Every five years or so I shave it off just to remind myself why I grew it in the first place (actually I initially grew it because I thought facial hair was somehow masculine) . I don’t look good or bad. I look like my father. No, thanks. ---
