I now have a decent coffee grinder. I’ve bought a few bags of whole bean coffee from Starbucks and I’ve been quite happy with the coffee. Where else should I experiment with affordable coffee beans? I prefer strongly flavored coffee with a dark roast.

Trader Joe’s has a lot of good options. I like the Low-Acid French Roast.

For affordable, Costco is pretty good. You can get a big bag of Starbucks French Roast, the kirkland espresso and usually something else.
