I have to vote in favor of the notion that if you want something, ask for it; you might get it. Works well for Mrs. Mercotan and I. _Expecting_ certain behavioral cues to result in clear understanding and compliance with wishes is just asking for trouble. Expectations are pre-meditated resentments. ---

Also, to whomever it was that posted “grow up” to the desire women have for the “knight in shining armor” scene. I believe that those of us describing that little fantasy made it QUITE clear that we didn’t actually REQUIRE our men to read our minds and that we were quite aware that that would be unfair, but that we were asking for the right to dream, without being judged. Which you then turned around and did (judge that is) by saying “uh…grow up”. Getting swept off your feet fantasies are childish? Give us a break. ---

So, the next time I have a horrible migraine and my (at the moment hypothetical) SO starts tryin’ to get it on, I’ll know Sauron’s wife is to blame. 🙂 Seriously, though … I want to second the suggestion someone made: if she complains of a headache, offer a backrub. If she has a real headache, a backrub will help and be greatly appreciated. Elsewise, backrubs can easily motate into less clothèd situations. – Dragonblink, who’d give just about anything for a backrub at the moment ---
