# I have a riddle for you...

i received a forward today with this riddle:
What is greater than God,
More evil than the devil,
The poor have it,
The rich need it,
And if you eat it, you’ll die?
…it said that if i forward it to 10 people and press _shift_ the answer will pop up, but i don’t believe that so i thought i’d ask fellow dopers 🙂
and if you figure it out, i’ll be your best friend 😃

well, it looks like AndrewL is my new best friend!! although i was kind of disappointed in the answer…what if you’re an atheist??? then saying that nothing is greater than god just doesn’t work.

Isn’t this the riddle that (supposedly) a high number of college students couldn’t figure out, but a large number of little kids could? Or was that some other riddle? Is that completely BS? It sure sounds like it is.

Hmmm…Wouldn’t the answer be “message sent”, or whatever confirmation you get from your e-mail after clicking send?
Now how you would manage to die from eating it…Electrocution maybe? Or perhaps all 10 of the people to whom you sent it, stuffing a printed version down your throat:p

well, since they’re rich, they probably want all the most expensive or rarest types of dishes there are in the world, and i figure that radishes are the rarest type of dishes, since i’ve never heard of anyone actually using one to eat off of, and… what was the question again?
