Someone gave them to me. They’re thawing out quick, I have no room in the freezer, and would like to do something other than throw them out. Is there a blueberry drink? (boil, strain the juice). ---

Soak in vodka or Everclear for a few weeks. You can add cinnamon, cloves, etc too. Then strain out solids, mix with simple syrup. ---

I’d say use 3 pounds for two blueberry pies. Keep one and give one away. Use 1/2 pound as crepe filling with a little lemon curd, and use the remainder for snacking. The texture might be off for snacking but I can’t resist good blueberries. Enjoy. ---

Thank you all! I made blueberry pie filling (half cooked down with lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon, with half whole berries thrown in) for ice cream topping and a soon-to-be blueberry pie. I did manage to freeze the rest by taking a loaf of bread out of the freezer to make room, , and the blueberry cordial sounds good, I will give that a try. It’s so unusual to have all these blueberries, usually they’re $3 for a handful in the store. ---
