Meeting Notes, **SDMB Clique** , 9/10/00 meeting. 9:00 AM: Discussed **Satan** ’s Ass. Had we heard too much of it? Not enough of it? Was **Omniscient** ’s shiny white ass becoming too much of a diversion from the original running joke? Vote: 37-1, **Satan** ’s ass must now be included in at least one in every twenty posts. **Drain Bead** promises to fulfill the quota for abstaining posters. **Satan** voices his final objections, then sulks. 9:48 AM: Discussed current topics in GD. General consensus- too much religion, not enough Star Trek. **Spoofe Bo Diddly** is nominated to start a commitee regarding “what the next big sci-fi question will be”. **Polycarp** and **Libertarian** agree to begin voluntary posting limits until the next big witnessing invasion. **Satan** promises to go out and recruit new fundies for when the time comes. 10:23 AM: Donuts. 11:15 AM: Discussed ‘flirting’ threads currently in **MPSIMS**. In order to help distribute notoriety and focus attention away from the more prominent clique members, **Coldfire** will being flirting with **Evilbeth** , and **DRY** will begin flirting with **Maeglin**. Heated debate ensures as to whether or not **Maeglin** is female. Discussion tabled with decision that **DRY** will instead begin flirting with **Falcon** , causing a minor tiff with **ChiefScott**. **Maeglin** will be given “first free rights”, where whomever he/she flirts with first must return the affection. 12:30 PM: Lunch at Denny’s. 1:35 PM: Begin discussion of GQ. Are enough new posters annoying **Manny** , or should we start enlisting friends and family to go in and ask questions obviously designed for different forums? **UncleBeer** points out that **Manny** is nearing sniper-on-a-rooftop stress levels, and so the decision is made for a small respite for **Manny**. 2:05 PM: **Milosarrian** gives his report on the **Euchtyus55** post-bot, which seems to be perfectly filling in for the late moderator. **Milo** ’s report is interrupted only briefly by **Mullinator** ’s drunken demand for **TwistOfFate** to “squeal like a pig.” Both are sent back to their hotel room, although it is unclear at this point whether they had their alcohol removed from them, or were handed more whiskey. 2:39 PM: Discussion of newbie on the board. **Lexicon** reports on the flaming prowess of new posters, including **SkinnyGuy** , who seems on the fast-track to inclusion in the clique. **GaWd** reports on the flirting capabilities of new posters, giving high marks to **Anniz** and **Soda**. All three are voted to recieve the super-secret instructions on joining the clique, 38-0. **Evilbeth** reports that ostracizing and humiliating most other newbies seems to have the desired results of making them whine and cry and run away like little babies. Clique Chairman **kellibelli** congratulates **evilbeth** on a job well done, and suggests to Sub-chairman for Flirtation **Montfort** that **evilbeth** be placed in the next round of link-ups. 3:54 PM: Meeting adjourned. ---

I have my own clique. The voices and I are quite happy together. Although a few of them do resent being excluded from the “Elite Clique” and are becoming quite vocal about it. Most of us don’t favor retribution but a few are being swayed by the rhetoric. More later. ---
