# I have baby shrimp that shouldn't exist

In a nutshell these are Amano shrimp. They can breed and lay eggs in fresh water but the larvae must travel down the river to brackish water in order to morph into baby shrimp. Mine have survived for three weeks now in fresh water. This should not be! They should die within hours or days of hatching.
