I just want to say that people whose screennames reflect low self-esteem (or appear to) really bum me out. As **Medea’s Child** already said so well, it’s the fact that you have defined yourself by your self-loathing. SDMB: “Quick, come up with 18 characters that gives us some small insight into who you are.” You: “Big Dumb Loser” (awkward pause) SDMB: “OK… Um, I have to go over here now.” It’s not that I’d shun you or anything. But it colors how I read your posts. But, if you have to, I recommend being interesting about it: **Discarded Underwear** **Scabby Monkey** **Smells Like Ham** **Sweaty** **Bad Toupee** **I Love Carnies** Something that combines low self-esteem with a certain _je ne sais quoi_. ---

God all these great names. I’m stunned. Thank you all for the careful thought, time and sheer creative effort you’ve put into finding a suitable replacement for uglybtch. My 3 favorites by far are: **son of hamfest, snotrocket** and **undulating tramp** I can’t choose among them, so I am tempted to go with: **undulating snot** (vivid) or **bride of undulating snotfest**. I think, though, i’m just gonna go with **undulant beech** if tuba lets me - or maybe just **undulant hag**. **irritable harpy** is also a possibility. As for the mental hygiene fascists - hang on to your confidence colors - I tried to come up with a few screennames for you: _massivewinner noflatushere cute’n’radicalfeminist iwannatalk2humorlessnitwits\_just\_like\_u_\*\* ---
