# i have vitiligo

weird. just found out.

i have a few small white splotches on my hand. since i’m a white guy anyway they dont stand out too much, but let’s hope it doesn’t spread eh?

well, if this is the worst thing that ever happens to me it’ll be a pretty awesome life, so i guess … yeah. fine.

fine. i have vitiligo.

Well, in the grand scheme of things, Vitiligo is not the worst thing you can have. I had a friend who has it very severe, he is blotchy all over his body.

He grew a goatee when we were in high school and it was black on the sides with a white zebra stripe down the middle. I believe he dyed his hair on his head brown so it wasn’t blotchy.

We hardly noticed it. I never think about it. He just had to watch those spots for the sun, since they burn quickly.
