I had 3 things to do this weekend: fix my brother-in-law’s tractor, write a paper for class and complete a final exam for another class. Well, the tractor is fixed and the paper is written. But I have yet to start the final. Is it just me, or should I now be writing about a lost hound dog and broke down pickup? Anyway, I have that damn final to complete and I am stressing royally. It’s not due until Wednesday, but that isn’t much help seeing as I have class Monday and Wednesday nights. On the plus side, I taught my nephew how to fix a tractor that has corroded battery terminals. I am so stressing right now, yet it always works out. I really wish I could believe that. ---

I didn’t do dick this weekend. I sympathize. I was _going_ to work on cleaning up the house and hauling boxes off the porch and all this stuff. Instead I slept and ate. I did go running today. But I think I gave myself a bit of heat exhaustion. ---

I saw a movie Friday, got dumped by my SO Saturday, and got a decent bike ride in today. Two out of three isn’t bad, but that third one stung. ---

I have a very hard time getting anything done on the weekends. I would be proud to accomplish ONE decent task. You did two, pat yourself on the back. Good luck on the final. By the way why are you stressing on it? ---

Saturday was the first really nice weekend day we’ve had this year, and for once, neither my wife nor I had anything urgent away from the house that needed to be done. The absolute _perfect_ day to tackle the mountain of yard projects we have. I managed about an hour and a half of working on putting in a stone border around a planting bed before the heat and exertion brought on one of my headaches and drove me to bed for the rest of the day. I get headaches a LOT, especially when I get overheated, but this one was a doozy. Worst one I’ve had in at least five years. It completely ruined a rare opportunity.
