As a Canadian I have only been to 7 of these spots, and I travel quite a bit, but most of it is international. However, I have been to Mattawa. Bet I am the only one on this board, too! ---

Across the deserts bare - Yes, if you count the “high desert” that is southern Idaho and eastern Oregon. Breathed the mountain air - Yes, as we have plenty of mountains in Idaho, too. Wichita - Been here a few times. Washington - Yes, the state, that is. Houston - Yes, but only the airport when coming to and from Mexico City. Spirit Lake - I was close to it, anyway, when I visited Mt. St. Helens a couple years ago. Crater Lake - I was there with my grandparents in 1985. Jacksonville - Yes, if you count Jacksonville, Oregon. I presume the song refers to the one in Florida, but since that is not specified in the song, I will give this one a yes. Idaho - Well, since I _live_ here, I’d say this one certainly counts. Colorado - Yes, only been through it, though. Rexburg - There’s one in Idaho, and I’ve been through it, so I’m adding this one to my list. 11/95, better than I thought I would do. ---
