or I know what some unfortunate is getting for Christmas. While waiting in lines today you may have noticed what some people were buying. You may have thought “I wish I was getting that”, or more likely “I feel sorry for the sucker getting that.” What were the best worst gifts you overheard someone was getting or saw being bought. I was in the small appliance section when I overheard and older couple. The woman was telling the man this “I hear on tv all the time how good this is.” I had to look at that point. I mean this should be good, if tv says so. She went on “A lot of people like these, they’re real popular.” I think to myself “When has something been misrepresented in an infomercial that I know of?” “Hmm…” She continues “I think we should get this for Sara.” So what was Sara’s wonderful gift? Tune in next week to find out. Ok, that would make me a pisser for doing that, here’s the answer. Scroll down. Farther down! Farther yet. Still not there. Ok! Stop! Sara got a barbeque grill that sits on an oven top burner. That’ll taste just like the real thing. I hope she has an industrial stove hood. Too far. Back up. ---

It could have been worse. It could have been [this](http://www.chia.com/). (Does anyone actually buy those things? I see them advertised every year, but does anyone get them except as a joke?) ---

He was a budding gardener, and thought they were cool…and he wanted the one shaped like Taz. ---

**ivylass** , my darling husband gave me one once. I’m pretty sure it was a joke, and I threatened him if he’d ever do it again. Since I’ve done most of my shopping on line, I’m afraid I have noting to add to this thread. Oh, wait, my BIL once gave my daughter a Left Behind volume. I’m pretty sure she threw it away. ---

They’re a vast improvement over the aluminum foil pot with dirt, and grass seed the teacher sent all our class home with. Hey mom! Do you like what I brought home for Easter. Easter grass! The teacher gave use Easter grass. Mom had to have that around until about May when it went into the lawn. Now do the dopers have any presents somebody bought today, you just happened to notice? ---

[/QUOTE] I always thought that somebody into organic foods, could use it for making different spouts for their salads and sandwiches. Hey honey, would you be a sweety and pass the Chi Pet? Thank you. Did you want some too. Just a little, you know what they do to me. 😛
