Big, big, big fan of _The Decemberists_ - intelligent, literate, sorta, kinda folk-punk (labels don’t matter it is quality music). But previously main man Colin Meloy had a “country” band called _Tarkio_. How they slipped under the radar is a complete mystery.

Get a copy of _Omnibus_ and just fill your head with it.

I get to see them in concert next week. With a full orchestra.

I’m so excited, I could scream. 🙂

**Lola Granola** , I saw them in concert last year. They were fan-freakin-tastic! Wear your dancing shoes!

Thanks for the lead,\*\* don’t ask\*\*.

Following up: I’m definitely loving this, moreso than the stuff I have from The Decemberists even. I think the standout tracks are Weight Of The World, Neapolitan Bridesmaid, and Better Half, but there are many more that are still catching my ear. Thanks again!
