The part of your response that I quoted certainly made it sound like you thought “they” (the people bashing **Der Trihs** ) were pro-war, blindly shouting “Support the troops!” even though most posters had already made it clear they had no such feelings. And the fact that **DT** was basically saying he was pro-killing US troops (or having Martians zap them, I guess) is where I cma eup with my statement about that - trying to point out that I was anti-war, too, but that didn’t mean I was for killing our troops. It was a way of distinguishing the reasonable anti-war contingent among us from the unreasonable, thus hopefully illustrating that the guy you seemed to be defending was unreasonable, not that you personally advocated killing anyone. As to your last paragraph, as I already said, I’m anti-war, so I don’t really know who you’re speaking to. ---
