How well does that work? I was under the impression that the near-everyday use of detergents made the hair of most people today unsuitable for wigs. (I think there was an article on this.)

Ya got me. I always thought the same thing. Here’s their description of the [manufacturing process.](http://www.locksoflove.org/manufacturing_process.php)

It may be that because children outgrow their wigs fairly quickly, they don’t have to be as durable. Then again, you’d expect kids to be a little harder on them, too.
