You may hate that, but how do you feel about the fact that more people die in car accidents than in airplanes? That’s what I don’t get. A car accident is just a report on the afternoon radio “Sig alert.” An airplane accident is news around the world. Add them up, and the cars are more deadly.

I don’t get…

luxury vehicles, either luxury cars, or even _more_ puzzling, luxury SUV’s/trucks…

I always thought driving was supposed to be _FUN_, the exhiliration of taking a tight corner, feeling every bump in the road, manually shifting through the gears, accompanied by the song of the engine, being a part of the road, going from point a to point b for the sheer joy of doing so…

what’s the appeal of a motorized La-Z-Boy that’s so plush you can fall asleep in it, suspension that isolates you from the road, and a transmission that a trained _chimp_ could operate? (the sludgebox, obviously), where’s the fun?
