Could someone please explain the movie " **Being John Malkovich**? I watched it yesterday and I just don’t get it. The dude’s a puppeteer, he finds the portal, they invade John, people fuck, some dying geezer kicks the puppeteer out of John. What’s with the speech ipediments [sp?], the ‘bullshit movie’ about the midget girl, the freakish dance with the smashing of the mirror, and all the rest of that stuff? I had just finished a 12-hour shift at work when I decided to sit down and watch the movie, maybe I was too tired to pick up on these things…or maybe the movie was just really odd. Help?😕 ---

It’s not supposed to make much sense. That’s the whole point. Don’t you love it, _love_ it when you have a bizare, surreal dream? Well I guess the film is an attempt to be that. ---

Part of the appeal is that is really wierd. If that’s not your cup of tea, then it’s probably not going to do much for you. Though if it is, you could always try it again when you are less tired and can focus better and see if it makes a difference.
