Yeah, **Omniscient** , I’m pretty bummed myself. Never mind that she’s 10 years younger than I am and lives about 1000 miles away. I got hit in the face with a log (not a burning one) while sitting at the campfire after a hike. My condition following that could be described as “stunned and bleeding.” ---

Yikes, jjjfishe! I’m glad you’re ok; those things are deadly weapons. Brings back memories of when my then-eight-year-old brother’s best friend hit him in the face with a golf club. Pete’s nose was essentially flattened; it took hours of surgery to put it back into a noselike form. It left him with a scar and a somewhat bendy nose, but considering this was 30-plus years ago the plastic surgeons did an excellent job. ---

I got hit in the head with a golf club when I was 4 or 5. It was my brother. He told me to move, I didn’t, he swung anyway(yes, we were both being bratty that day). A trip to the doctor later, I had stitches in my head. Oooh… that stung. And a week later, they had to be taken out-meanwhile, my hair couldn’t be washed during that time. Not a crisis for a 4 year old. ---
