I was watching th morning news report on this… One of the most touching things about the twins was, when questioned on the risks, part of their answer was: “We just want to see each other face to face.” ☹ R.I.P. ---

Yeah, that really sucks. It’s hard to believe that they wanted to be separated that badly. It’ instructive to remember that when the doctors tell you there’s a chance that they’ll lose you, it’s real. They really could. I honestly don’t get the point about “object lesson.” I’ve re-read what I wrote, and I don’t understand how I said anything like that, or what you mean, Broomstick. ---

No… they’re little girls. Reducing them to an object lesson or “living textbook” is creepy… as if their sole purpose in life is to be “instructive” to others. I have to wonder if their family is even aware of this website - the Hensels have stated that they do NOT want their children used by others, even well-intentioned people. ---
