# I just had my thread get closed for the first time.

Don’t feel bad, **Agent Foxtrot**. I don’t think there’s anyone who’s been here for awhile that hasn’t had at least one thread closed yet (including me!). I know you meant well, but yes, if through the progression of the thread someone didn’t see their name there they might feel jealous/insulted. But like I said, don’t take it bad. At least it was a pretty tame matter and not some huge trainwreck. 🙂

It was redundant, really - there was a “Dopers who you’re thankful for” thread going on at the same time without any animosity. Asking people to pick their “top three” was almost certainly bound to stir up difficulty.

Nope, I haven’t had a thread closed yet! 😛 Of course, I behave myself and I don’t let no-good-people into my threads. None of _you_ are on that list of course – you’re all nice people.

This isn’t going anywhere as a rant either, though I must admit sneaky **moriah’s** post cracked me right the hell up.  
Nope, we Pit mods are every bit as much jack-booted fascists as **Cajun Man** ever _dreamed_ of being about stuff not fitting into a forum.
