# I just joined Gamefly. Now what?

I just joiined GF as a Christmas gift for my son. I ordered 3 games for him. About how long before they show up? The site did not say as far as I can tell.

Keep checking your account for the games to be marked as “Shipped.” Also, you can’t order games from GameFly, you have a queue like Netflix and it just sends the next 1, 2, or 3 games you have in your list depending on the plan you purchased. If all you’ve added to the list is 3 games (and especially if they’re new releases), it’s going to be a long wait as they’re likely out of stock.

But once your account says your games have been Shipped, it takes no longer than any other piece of first class mail, about 2-3 days.
