The reason he was given such a light sentence, I am sure, was his youth (16 at the time of the crimes), the idea being that he was still young enough to turn his life around. And if you think about it, the authorities were right. He _has_ turned his life around. He really should do something to make amends to the people he hurt, though. That he hasn’t done so tells me something about him as a person. Also, he is a terrible actor. ---

I think that there are a lot of people here that need healing of their brains. What is this stuff about 'what he needs to do"? The courts decided it, and that is it. You have no business with it. There are some major screws loose here. Everybody here is acting like he’s the only one on earth who ever fucked anyone over. Each person here has done something pretty bad, but, since it was ‘racial’ then it’s unforgivable. Screws loose. ---

I think there is a difference between legal obligation and moral obligation. I can’t t speak for anyone else here, but I’ve never blinded anyone. (Have you?)
